Our PACE Model Approach
At Arden Fernvale Group, we use the PACE model as part of our therapeutic approach to care and relationship building.
PACE stands for:
- Playfulness
- Acceptance
- Curiosity
- Empathy
This approach helps children feel emotionally safe, understood, and connected with the adults caring for them.
Using PACE, our staff aim to:
- Build trusting and secure relationships
- Reduce anxiety and conflict
- Support emotional regulation
- Encourage healthy communication
- Help children process experiences safely
Rather than focusing solely on behaviour, we seek to understand the feelings, experiences, and unmet needs behind behaviours. This creates a supportive environment where children can develop confidence, stability, and positive attachments.
